Privacy Policy
Pleia7 helps IB Diploma students study and track exam readiness. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address (and your Google profile name and email if you sign in with Google).
- Study setup: your subjects, levels, exam session and year.
- Your content: notes, images you add to notes, themes, units and sub-units.
- Progress: quiz and flashcard results, readiness scores and their history, exam attempts.
- Usage: basic activity such as when you study and how many AI features you use, so we can enforce fair-use limits and keep the service working.
How we use it
To run your account, calculate readiness, schedule reviews, generate study tools and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
AI processing
When you generate quizzes, flashcards, mind maps or explanations, the relevant parts of your notes are sent to third-party AI services to produce that result. They process the text only to return the result to you.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored with our cloud hosting and database providers, which may store it outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your data and files are deleted straight away; backups may hold copies for a short period before they expire.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can access, correct, delete and export your data. Use Settings → Download my data to export and Settings → Delete my account to delete. You can also contact us at pleia7.official@gmail.com, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Pleia7 is not for children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not create an account.
